Remote Monitoring
In 2020, Xone Security added its remote monitoring service to its security solution offering. Our hosted command and control centres in Gauteng and the Western Cape are equipped with world-leading security technology and operated by staff trained in specialised skills through our training academy to monitor, understand and interpret live security video footage and initiate appropriate and rapid operational and or tactical responses when required. Our remote monitoring services include:
- Trigger-activated video notification to our hosted command and control room
- Two-way communication between Customer Site and Command Centre in case of emergency
- Health monitoring of equipment and monitoring of maintenance functionality
- Active dial-in and virtual patrol of the site
- Active dial-in and virtual visual audit of the site
- Active dial-in and virtual incident management analysis of staff on-site
- Active dial-in and virtual behavioural analysis and psychological profiling
- Collection of evidence and report generation for court purposes
- Reviewing of data and video
- Gate opening/closing
- Equipment changing, e.g., set temperatures, activate lights

Technology

Through the years, traditional physical security solutions have been reimagined by the increasing impact of digital technology, such as cloud software, drone cameras, mobile devices, biometric access control systems, sophisticated surveillance systems, etc., and most recently, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning.
Xone Security started as a focused security technology specialist in 2008 and has built a reputation as a specialist in several security technology disciplines, specifically CCTV, thermal cameras, video analytics, access control, fire detection and prevention, intruder alarms, and remote and local control rooms.
However, it takes experience, expertise, and a holistic knowledge of the disciplines of people, processes, and technology to provide unique integrated solutions per client.
Intelligence

Knowing what information is needed and how to get it to mitigate risk, investigate an event such as theft, assault, harassment, fraud or industrial espionage, or gather required evidence for a case is imperative to a successful outcome. Xone Security’s operations division has a wealth of experience in forensic investigations, including forensic detective work, intelligence gathering, surveillance and countermeasures, undercover investigations, polygraphing, and other criminal checks.
